The Story Behind the Name 

The creation of Lamyaskitchen is inspired by some of the fondest and most loving memories of my childhood, which always revolved around spending countless hours watching my grandmother, Lamya, work in her kitchen.

She had an incredible way around cooking and baking, and from her kitchen, touched the lives of so many. Her handwritten recipes, some of which are over 50 years old, were passed on to my mother, and then to me. Following my grandmother's footsteps, I started baking for fun, and discovered my passion for baking.

To enhance my skills and techniques, I enrolled and received certifications from ICCA Dubai and the French Pastry School in the US.

This is what Lamya’s kitchen is all about. A place where you can find delicious recipes, ideas and advice on how to make your every baking journey an amazing experience.  A place that will hopefully allow you to put a smile on your and your loved ones’ faces with every bite. Just like the one I always had in Lamya’s kitchen.
